Hot July updates

Hey, Isopeople!

It’s been a whole while since our last update! So, are you guys ready for some amazing news for you?

1. We’re happy to announce that now you can see covers and screenshots if they are included in the torrent description. Let’s please our eyes with the pictures!

2. Tags system is finally getting there. As for now, you can’t find tags in all the torrents but their amount is gradually increasing. Although fully operational tags search is not ready yet, it’s about to be launched very soon!

3. We’ve made uploaders’ life a bit easier as there were some small improvements for them. We’re always thinking of you guys!

4. We’ve added new sources of verified content growing even bigger everyday.Thumbs up!

Finally, we’ve fixed a lot of small issues, tuned some small stuff (navigation elements, speed issues, links, etc.). Little by little Isohunt is getting more comfortable to use, yaaay!

Also, we want to remind you that we’re currently working on another great project – Isoplex. It’s a free movie streaming service that allows you to watch movies without downloading them. The new version is coming up soon.

Hope ya’ll enjoy the improvements we’ve made. And be sure, there’s gonna be loads of cool stuff for you by the end of the summer!

Keep Isohunting and have a wonderful day!

Yours truly,

Isohunt.to team

  1. My ISP has provided 25Mb download speed and the movies still stop frequently. They are unwatchable! Any idea what could be the problem and solution? Love it at work on a T3 connection-just did a test but cannot watch there.
    Thanks, Tab

    1. Thank you for your feedback, Taz Mars!
The problem you’re experiencing is probably due to the law amount of seeders of the movie. But we’re working on selecting the movies only with high number of seeders.

      1. Why did you make all of these ridiculous changes to isohunt? no one told you to muck the whole site up with bad decisions, complicated and non user friendly interfaces, links that cant be clicked, and the addition of a mandatory but shitty little bit torrent down loader that brings loads of unnecessary extra junky programmes with it that I did not want and have to spent time installing. Then when I am finally able to search for something I like I press download and download some crap that was hidden in the file I wanted and that means I cant get the things I want, I used to actually love isohunt, click search, click download, watch it download on utorrent and im ready to install but now its so hard that I do not want any further contact with this ridiculously poorly designed site, whats the point in having a downloader site if ya cant download anything from? If I were the site manager I would go back to how isohunt was in 2012, take my word for it, it was much better than this shite.

        1. Hi, Leo!

Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate it.
Now we’d like to explain you some things you misunderstood, unfortunately.

1.Isohunt.to is not the same site as Isohunt.com. Since the old site was shut down, we took all the work to restore Isohunt. It’s not that easy as it might seem to you…We’re constatntly working on improving the site and making it more comfortable to use.
2.There is no obligation for using some specific torrent client program! You can use whatever you like(utorrent, vuze, bittorrent etc).We respect your choice.
3.Unfortunately it’s impossible to remove all the fake torrents. Like all torrent sites, our resources are limited. There are simple rules how to avoid fakes: http://forum.isohunt.to/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=16 http://forum.isohunt.to/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=144 and if you follow them, you’ll be good. We use users feedback to find and mark bad torrents.
You can mark torrents as fake, if you 100% sure it’s fake (if you downloaded it or it has bad rating on torrentz.eu), by pressing Mark as fake on the torrent page.

Hope now you will find what you need with far less troubles!
